Wanting to be much more than just another store and having a large desire to be a bigger part of the community, Delaney's Closet offers many fund raising opportunities.

In July of 1999 my friend was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of breast cancer that came on with no warning, no signs-nothing.  Suddenly our focus went from "how do we lose those extra punds we gained during the winter to how do we beat this cancer and live!  By October, those goals had changed to-can I survive through the holidays and see New Years Day 2000!  Happily she saw the ball drop on New Years Eve but saddly she lost her battle on Jan 3, 2000. 

She never got the chance to go prom dress shopping with her daughter, never saw her graduate, she wasn't there for her daughters wedding, and she wasn't there to see her first granddaughter born.  Her poor daughter didn't have her Mom to share these mile stones with.

No Mom should have to leave her daughter, no daughter should have to say goodbye to her Mom-and no Mother should have to bury their child!

That's HOW  my "DRINK IN PINK" hand painted glasses started.  Not just those glasses but every hand painted item you purchase from my store a protion of the proceeds go to breast cancer.
